Standard Package
Licensing modelThe standard package uses mixed named and/or concurrent licensing. For concurrent licenses, this means that multiple users of lobodms share one lobodms license. This makes it possible to match the licensing precisely to the respective requirements. PerformanceThe standard package is designed for applications using a server with a maximum of two processors and any number of Recherche Clients. Clustering (failover)We recommend the use of a cluster so as to be able to automatically switch to the backup system. This refers to the online operation of one or more backup systems. The system is typically configured the same way as the original system and automatically takes over its tasks in case of error. Archive functionalityDocuments must be retained due to legal or organizational aspects. Existing process systems (ERP, CRM, ...) do not allow an unlimited retention period for documents. There is thus a need to store these documents in an archive in an audit-proof manner. In order to manage the documents irrespective of the creating application, the documents are stored in the central lobodms "document repository". lobodms is used for audit-proof, long-term archiving of documents. It is therefore recommended to use this as a central system to ensure high standards of data security and availability. lobodms supports various storage technologies (e.g. drive arrays, optical media, magnetic tapes or storage systems such as HSM, SAN, ...). As a standard feature, the lobodms standard package supports archiving on local hard disc drive (HDD), network drive, single drive (CD, DVD, BluRay), and also provides extension to single drive WORM, WORM tape and Netapp. Scope of delivery for the lobodms standard packageThe lobodms standard package includes: 1 lobodms Server • lobodms Administrator 5 lobodms named Clients • lobodms Explorer 1 lobodms Archive Server • loboarc Server |
